Biography簡介
Chor-Kheng Lim (CK) is Professor and Chair of the Department of Art and Design at Yuan Ze University, Taiwan, where she also directs the university Arts Center and CKfablab, the digital fabrication lab she founded in 2012. Born in Malaysia, she trained as an architect (B.Arch, Chung Yuan Christian University; M.Arch and Ph.D., National Chiao Tung University) and served as project leader of AleppoZONE before joining YZU in 2009.
Her work sits at the intersection of design, computation and fabrication. Beginning from CAAD and digital fabrication research published in venues including Design Studies, she moved into interactive technology and gerontechnology — serving as deputy director of YZU's Gerontechnology Research Center (2014–2020) and creating the commercialized intergenerational game device Pillow Fight, a Stanford Design Challenge Global Bronze winner. Her current research examines AI-augmented design: how generative AI and vibe coding transform design creation and design education.
A recipient of more than ten university Innovation in Teaching Awards and MOE recognitions, she created Taiwan's first maker MOOC and continues to lead USR programs connecting design students with elder communities.
林楚卿（CK），馬來西亞籍，元智大學藝術與設計學系專任教授兼系主任，同時擔任藝術中心主任，並主持其於 2012 年創立的 CKfablab 數位構築實驗室。建築背景出身（中原大學建築學士、交通大學建築碩士與博士），曾任 AleppoZONE Project Leader，2009 年起任教元智。
她的工作位於設計、運算與製造的交會處：從發表於《Design Studies》等場域的 CAAD 與數位構築研究出發，延伸至互動科技與高齡科技—曾任元智老人福祉科技研究中心副主任（2014–2020），所開發的代間互動遊戲「枕頭戰」獲史丹佛銀髮設計競賽全球銅獎並商品化。目前研究聚焦 AI 增強設計：生成式 AI 與 vibe coding 如何改變設計創作與設計教育。
曾獲十餘次校級創新教學獎與多項教育部肯定，開設全台第一門 maker 磨課師課程，並持續主持連結設計學生與高齡社區的 USR 計畫。
